You can live near the Atlantic, but also three quarters of an hour from Bordeaux (A63) with its international airport and TGV railway station.  In one and a half hours you can reach the Spanish border or the ski slopes of the Pyrenees!  Labouheyre has its own railway station.

 You will like the climate in fall.  The winters are mild and the sun seems to shine starting in the beginning of March up to the end of November.

 One usually spends this entire season outside.  However, in summer the house is delightfully cool.
