Las Palmas is an ancient farm, founded by Spanish settlers at the end of the 18th century. The building was constructed at the highest point of the region, so that the there is a perfect view all over the zone. In this way it became a privileged point of vigilance of persons and commodities on the way to the East of the country – which is also the road to Brasil. A lot of it’s orignial vegetation has still been conserved. For example the are native species as Butiá-Palms and Pindó-Palms.
The main house has been completely renovated and it is equipped with all the comfort of today’s life (Satelite-TV, Internet, etc.).
