Object description: This "farm" is unique in all of Europe. It is a complete life's work of the artist who created it.
No matter where one looks, it is all completely unique. Starting with the walls, various fireplace stoves or tree-houses, as well as all furniture, tables, benches, sculptures and all other works of art which are to be bought at a surcharge (can be negotiated).
Base altogether: 7082 square meters (7,45 AK) Consists of: - 100 square meter stage, under which are 180 square meters of guest cellar for wine and delicacies. - 160 square meters of other buildings.
- 225 square meters of auditorium with room for approximately 170 people. The artist was born in Kecskemét and died in the summer of 2003.
At an early age he became familiar with the traditional kinds of technology and construction forms of the farmers. He was inspired from his infancy to carve sculptures from wood.
Then he began the construction works. And this is how the famous court theater got started.
The buildings are from traditional materials with all kinds of technology from wood, mud and tubing. In the 80's the work was begun with the help of the young people who have learned the folk art along with the artist.
First the studio was finished and then the other buildings of the farmstead. Later the artist built "tree-houses" with reed roofs in the picturesque surroundings.
The large design of the last few years finally has become a reality: his court theater was finished. The artist used many traditional building forms and created a real, 100 square meter stage.
Among it are 180 square meters of wine cellar with restaurant, 160 square meters of other buildings and 225 square meters of auditorium with room for 170 people. The whole complex reflects the folk art of the area and is absolutely faithful to materials and building technology.
The rooms and halls of the complex (on 2000 square meters) have many artistic furnishings and electrical appliances which were made individually by the artist. The whole complex itself is a single, big exhibition of the collection of folk art of the area.
This oasis on sand is an exceptional experience of the Hungarian "Alföld" region.
