The property, which is set on a plot measuring 1,400 square metres, is easily accessible and is connected to both mains water and electricity. The property also has a well on the land for irrigating the garden.
The house and the cottage are semi-detached and are both set over two floors, though the living accommodation of both is currently only on the first floor.
House: The main entrance to the house is via an exterior concrete staircase. There is a part-glazed aluminium door which leads into an entrance hallway. Off this hallway there is a living room, which has a central stone fireplace. The house has two bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen, which does require some modernisation work. Off the kitchen there is a 'marquise' sun room which leads out to the back of the house and the garden. There are several storage rooms to the ground floor of the house, though these do not have the required 'head room' to be converted into additional living space.
Cottage: The main entrance to the cottage is also via an external concrete staircase. The main entrance door leads into the living room. Off the living room there is a bedroom. There is a rustic style kitchen off the living room, which a large, traditional style fireplace. Off the kitchen there is a covered terrace area which leads out to the garden. The cottage also has several storage rooms to the ground floor which do not have sufficient head height for conversion into additional living space.
The property has a gate driveway and is in an elevated position above the road through the village. There is ample parking for vehicles on hard standing.
The property is situated in the village of Alviobeira, which has several cafes and a small shop within walking distance. There are neighbouring properties around, though do not affect the privacy of the house and cottage. The historic town of Tomar is around 10 minutes drive from the property. The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours' by car.
