Description for this listing

The house was restored and benefits from having central heating installed.

The house has wooden framed windows and doors and stone framed window surrounds. The property is set in the heart of the village. There are neighbouring houses around due to the location, however the property has good, open views across the valley.

The main entrance is accessed via a set of exterior steps at the front of the house. The main entrance to the house leads into a central hallway, which has a tiled floor. Off the hallway there is a living room, which has a tiled floor and a central stone fire place. The living room is spacious and has an exterior access door which leads out to a veranda at the rear of the house. There is a wooden staircase which leads to the first floor accommodation.

The kitchen also has a tiled floor and a selection of built in base and eye level wooden units with a marble work surface. Off the kitchen there is a pantry which is large enough to be used as a laundry room. There is also a partially tiled bathroom to the ground floor which has a toilet, bidet and pedestal sink.

There are three bedrooms to the first floor, all of which have wooden floors. There is a second living room to the first floor, which could be used as a fourth bedroom or a study. This room has a bank of built in wooden wardrobes. There is a partially tiled bathroom to the first floor. The bathroom has a bath with shower above, toilet, bidet and pedestal sink.

The property has central heating installed as well as air conditioning. The property has internal wooden windows to most of the rooms. The property is situated within a village but does have a small patio to the front, which is paved in stone. There is a slightly larger veranda at the rear of the house, which is also paved in stone and has good views over the countryside.

The property is situated within the heart of the village of Póvoa, which has several cafes and a small mini-market. The property is within walking distance of the amenities and is only around seven kilometres from the historic town of Tomar.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours' by car.
