The Bed and Breakfast “Auricaria” is located in Torre San Giovanni, marina of Ugento, in an Italian zone called Salento.
Its name derive from the beautiful and imposing presence of the Araucaria tree inside the garden.
As the crow flies the Bed and Breakfast is far only 20 metres from the seaside and about 400 metres from the equipped beaches, while the near, wonderful and free  mar Ionio beaches can be reached on foot, because the B&B has an ideal position into the country.
The structure is collocated in the center of the marina: promenades, restaurants, bar, shops, chemist, first-aid, church and all the tourist and not tourist services that the place offers, are reachable on foot .
The rooms have been obtained by a renovation of an old building, with some rooms respecting the typical architecture which is common in the area of Salento; in fact some of them are  built using the characteristic star-shaped vaults.
The rooms overlook, thorugh balconies, on the garden of the structure.
Every room has a personal access and an independent bathroom, TV and air-conditioner.
The neatness of the rooms is in perfect hotel style with daily arrangement and  change of the linen two times a week.
The breakfast is served in the breakfast room of the kitchen.
