This is a neogothic castle of unusually vast proportions.  A merlon wreath, a merlon slender as well as many brick turrets are features of the castle.

 The architect's plan for the castle was designed by Frederick August Stüler (1800-1865).  At the same time - in about 1840 - Peter Joseph Lenné (1789-1866) designed the park.

 The same stylistic elements that were used in the castle's shape are very apparent in the outward appearance and the facade of the stables.  Two sculpted horse heads on a junction refer to the function of the building.

Economic buildings and castle court: The castle court is surrounded by economic bulidings and is a monument according to the federal state western Pomerania. Building permission: Building permission exists regarding - Castle building - Stables including the riding area.
