N8720020 Object: The country house is located in a secluded and sunny valley in Hunsrück. It has 350 m ² floor space and 250 m ² effective area and offers representative high-comfort living.
General info: In 1988 the new building was established with the intent to refurbish the old mill. Without taking into consideration the costs of construction eventually a representative and independent country house emerged that produced energy and provided private electricity and water for the house itself.
The new mill feeds 15 KW turbines. As an alternative a diesel powered generator that produces 10 KW is available.
In 1992 an electricity connection of 1,2 kms was built to the edge of the property. The property can be supplied with electricity and warmth by the turbine.
An oil-fired central heating with 10000 liter tanks is also available. The spring offers high-quality drinking water.
A private purification plant exists. The building has two attainable cellar levels.
Here is the turbine space, a swimming-pool (5 x 10 m, needs to be tiled), heating, water treatment, workshop, assorted storage rooms, laundry and economic areas. From the ground floor and from the cellar one can reach the 70 m ² garage.
The lime sandstone of the outside walls are double built with interior air cushion. With the wide marble staircase one can reach the roof studio and 100 m ² south terrace.
Both living floors have fireplaces. The living area is tiled.

There are some building surfaces, an oriental pond arrangement, and behind it some beeches and conifers. There is a mill ditch that is fed by a brook in the eastern part of the property.
Directly interposed on the building is the concrete turbine area. It is southwest from the dwelling-house.
Structural condition: the whole building was established between 1985 and 1990 from solid materials and a lot of quality (concrete, lime sandstone). There were no disadvantages discovered.
The swimming pool in the cellar must be tiled. The condition of the utilities as well as technical equipment correspond to the time of construction.
Later a RWE cable was intalled to provide external electricity.
