The foundation of the building are said to be from the roman age, while the current exterior around 1700. As you may know, when Via Giulia was built by Pope Giulio II, many houses were occupied by craftsmans and artist who worked in the "fabbrica di San Pietro". Entering from the main door there is a small hall from where you can go into the bedroom (king size double bed) with balcony and private bathroom with bath and shower. Or you can access the dining room and then the kitchen (small but very nice and fully equipped with every kind of dish, glasses, etc. and machines: washing machine, dish machine, electric oven, microwave oven, American coffee machine, etc.). From the main hall or from the dining room you can enter into the large living room with two sofas, television, dvd player, satellite receiver and stereo with cd. Every room is provided with independent air conditioning (latest model with remote controls) and heaters. The house is very bright and extremely quite because of the double glasses fitted on all the windows. In the hall, there is also a beautiful old iron stairs that leads to one of the main features of this flat. On the 5th floor there is a large terrace (45 square metres) overlooking the Tevere river from which you can see seven beautiful churches including St. Peter as well as the Gianicolo hill.
