Lovely restored apartment in upscale Hillcrest neighborhood. Short-term sublet while we travel. Dates available: June 23-August 11. We can be somewhat flexible on dates. Preference given to longer term situations.

Rent is 700/week for one or two people and 50/week for each additional person, 4 people max. The home is 1400 square feet (175 square meters) with a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. (The second bedroom is used as an office.) Amenities include high-speed internet (bring your laptop), gourmet kitchen, dishwasher, 1.5 bathrooms, washer & dryer, TV, basic cable, DVD, dozens of movies, local phone use, and weekly cleaning. There is a fax/copier/scanner available for business travelers.

The apartment is situated walking distance from many fine restaurants, shops, Balboa Park which contains the famous San Diego Zoo, and 5-10 minutes drive from the zoo, beaches, sea world, and downtown San Diego. Easy freeway access and on major bus lines.

Kids are welcome, and we have lots of toys and books! The home is nicely furnished in adult-style, and we will require a 400 fully refundable deposit (debited only if there is damage or long-distance phone charges).

Non-smoking building. There is a smoking area on the back patio. No pets.
