BH-06 Yenhe town great wall one day hiking tour.

(1) Introduction of Yanhe town great wall:

Yanhe town is the most important pass of the Great wall in the Ming dynasty, it is located in yanhecheng(90km/54miles from downtown) of Mentougou district, Beijing.
Both yanhe town and boyu town are the pearls of architectures in Ming and Qing dynasty. Two watchtowers erected in yanhe town, as they severd as warehouses for villagers, they kept well. The unique “yi xian tian” valley is situated between two watchtowers. Which lead to huangcaoliang great wall in Mentougou district. The lanscape around huangcaoliang great wall is unique, the yellow grasses, as same as grassy marshland in high mountains cover thoughtout hillside and grow wildly.There is abuilding piled with stone pieces, inside of whichis stuffied with stones, judge from its architectural style, it is probably built in Beiqi dynasty(550-577).

(2)Tour scheduel:

Picking up at the hotel in the early morning around 8am.get to the section in 2 and half hours approximatly,hiking for 2 hours on the wall,visiting the village and local famer’s dwellings,drive back to the hotel in the afternoon. Lunch included.
