The cottage is located within a small hamlet of Beselga and has good views over the countryside. There are neighbouring properties opposite the cottage but the garden area is relatively private. The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately 10 minutes drive from the cottage. Tomar is a popular and bustling town with a variety of supermarkets, health centres, hospital, schools, university, banks, pharmacies, builders’ merchants, sports centres, bars, restaurants and cafes. The closest airport is Lisbon, which is approximately one and a quarter hours by car.
