The two storey house has been constructed to a high standard with careful attention to detail in the finishing. It has been pre-plumbed for installation of central heating and air conditioning as well a central vacuuming and is fully double glazed. The shutters are integral and can electronically controlled.
The main entrance of the house leads into a light and airy central hallway, which runs the depth of the house. Within the hallway there is a stone faced staircase up to the first floor. There is a study with patio doors out to the front of the house. The living room is accessed off the hallway via a set of double doors and there are also double part glazed doors which lead through to the kitchen. The triple aspect living room has a tiled floor and down lighters. There are three set of patio doors which lead out to patios at the front and rear of the house and a central fireplace with a contemporary style Salamander log burner fitted with a recirculating hot air system as well as a feature ’stone’ effect chimney breast.
There is a fully tiled bathroom off the hallway, which has a hydro-massage bath. The kitchen is at the rear of the house and is fully fitted with a range of contemporary style units. The work surface is black granite. There is a gas hob, integrated microwave, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen also has patio doors and a door out to a terrace at the rear of the house.
The stone faced staircase opens out onto a spacious landing area on the first floor which provides access to the four bedrooms and a family sized bathroom. One of the two master suites has a wall of wardrobes with a ‘hidden’ access door to the bathroom. The second master suite also has a fully tiled bathroom and patio out to a private veranda at the rear of the house.
At the rear of the house there is a detached annex, which houses a spacious garage and a large storage room, which can be accessed internally or externally. The storage room has a built in barbecue to one corner with a food preparation area. There is also an open fronted covered dining area within the annex.
The garden is fully walled and relatively flat. There is a vehicle entry way to the side of the house, which has electronic gates. This leads to a block paved driveway which has ample parking for up to three or four vehicles.
The property is situated in the village of Atalaia which has several cafes, a church, small shop and a community centre. The historic market town of Tomar is around ten minutes by car. The large towns of Entroncamento and Torres Novas are around ten and 15 minutes by car respectively. The closest airport is Lisbon, which is around one and a quarter hours drive away.
