The cottages, which are connected to mains water and electricity are in a basically habitable state but could benefit from modernisation and renovation work. Although the properties do have independent title deeds they are being sold together - the cottages are next to each other and both are two storey.
The first stone cottage is around 70 years old. To the ground floor there are two kitchens, one of which has a traditional style fireplace and a tiled floor. There is a spacious living room with a tiled floor and a wooden beamed ceiling and a bathroom. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, all of which have wooden floors and ceilings. There are also storage rooms which house a wine cellar.
The second cottage does require more modernisation work. There is a living room with a concrete floor, a kitchen with a fireplace and tiled walls. Off the living room there is a wooden staircase which leads to the first floor where there are two rooms, both of which have windows. This second cottage also has a variety of annexes which have been used for storage purposes. Both cottages have small gardens to the front with a variety of mature roses and plants.
The cottages are situated in the small hamlet of Pinhal near the village of Sabacheira, the closest town is Tomar - approximately 14 kilometres away. Tomar is an historic market town and has several large supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, schools, banks, pharmacies, hospital, health centres, sports centres and bus and train stations. In addition to this it has a weekly market on Fridays and a flea market once a month. The closest airport is Lisbon, which is approximately 145 kilometres drive.
