The cottage, which is connected to both mains water and electricity, is set over two floors. The cottage has metal framed windows with some internal shutters.
The cottage is situated on a quiet cobbled road and there are neighbouring properties around. Although the property is set over two floors, the ground floor accommodation houses a large garage with folding metal vehicle access door. The garage has a concrete floor stone walls. Off the garage area there is a traditional style 'adega' which was used for making wine. This room has a traditional style wine making vat to one corner.
The living accommodation is situated on the first floor, which appears due to the way in which the cottage has been constructed to be at ground level at the front. The main entrance doors leads into a hallway, which runs the depth of the cottage. The hallway has a tiled floor and traditional style wooden ceiling.
Off the hallway there are three bedrooms, all of which have wooden floors. There is a fully tiled bathroom, which has a bath with shower above, toilet, bidet and pedestal sink. The kitchen and living room are situated at the rear of the cottage and are open plan.
The kitchen has a corner fire place, a tiled floor and a stainless steel sink and drainer with storage cupboard beneath. The living room is accessed through an archway off the kitchen and also has a tiled floor. There is a sun room off the kitchen, which has an exterior access door which leads to a walk way around the cottage.
The cottage is situated in the small hamlet of Caneiro, which is close to the market town of Alvaiázere. Alvaiázere has several supermarkets, shops, cafes, weekly market, swimming pool, health centre and schools.
The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 35 minutes drive from the property. Tomar is a popular town and has a variety of supermarkets, banks, health centres, sports centres, shops, restaurants, bus and train stations as well as historic monuments.
