 The cottage, which is connected to both mains water and electricity, is set over one floor and is located in a private situation. The property, which measures 74 square metres of construction, is set on a plot measuring 724 square metres.
The cottage is in a reasonably good condition though would benefit from some modernisation works. The main entrance to the cottage leads into a triple aspect 'marquise' room which looks over the garden. This room leads into a spacious hallway, which has a tiled floor. Off this hallway there are two bedrooms, both of which have tiled floors. One of the bedrooms is double aspect.
At the end of the hallway there is a kitchen, which is partially tiled and has a corner fireplace and some fitted base level units. The living room is accessed off the kitchen and also has partially tiled walls and floor. The bathroom is partially tiled and has a shower, toilet, bidet and pedestal sink.
Although the property is set over one floor there is an attic, which is accessed via an exterior metal staircase. Adjacent to the cottage there is a storage room for gardening equipment though there is also a bread oven.
The property is set on a plot measuring 724 square metres, which is level and there are a number of mature shrubs and grape vines. The property's land is completely fenced and is fertile.
The property is situated in a secluded position with no near neighbours, however it is not isolated and is within walking distance of a cafe bar in the village of Areias. The larger town of Ferreira do Zêzere is only around nine kilometres drive from the property.
The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which takes around one and a half hours' by car.
