The Bed & Breakfast “Le Tegole” is located at the centre of the green and fresh Alento Valley, in the Cilento’s National Park, in the Castelnuovo Cilento’s municipality (Salerno), an ancient feudal small village dominated by mount Stella ( 1300 metres), 6 km from Velia (Ascea), the Parmenides’ homeland, 15 km from Pioppi, 18 from Acciaroli, 35 from Palinuro.

Its position and its garden very fresh and windy, make “Le tegole” a very confortable place. Its rooms are fresh and windy in the summer, warm in the winter.

“Le Tegole” is also the seat of the “Association of Cilento’s Cooking and Culture”. The Association offers to its members, in a very warm and friendly atmosphere, the tasting of ancient and modern Cilento biologic recipes.

It’s also possible to get Shiatsu and Ayurveda Massages and Yoga’s lessons by a Master qualified by the “Shiatsu National Federation”.

The preparation of the typical plates, the tasting of the several produced specialties, exclusively in the Cilento territory, bring to the first place the season ingredients not subordinates to cycles of forced production, but handled with care by the responsibles of the kitchen.

Tomatoes, biologic oils, soppressate, capicolli and bacons, valuable verdure of season, meats, fish of the seas of Agropoli, Acciaroli and Pisciotta are to the base of the preparation of our plates.
