The land SITO MARINO is situated on the road Br 001 by the sea, between  the towns of Ilheus and Itacaré  in the Brazilian state of Bahia.
Over the river there is a bridge of reinforced concrete that can hold as much as  twenty tons. The land itself is of around seven hectares  (actually 69.800 square meters) and it has already structures completed and functioning of 400 s.m. with all the permits from the Environment Agency  of Ilheus  for a total of 3200 s.m.
The constructions finished at the present are the following:
• three chalets
• one bar-restaurant
• one swimming-pool
• one villa of 300 s.m.
• two chalets in advanced state of  construction
• one water-tower with two water tanks ,with a capacity of 18.000 and 12.000  litres
• two bio-gas net-works
• one smaller chalet at the main entrance with reception functions and porter’s lodge.
• One power station
  
All the constructions, completed in the year 2008 are supplied of cold and hot water provided by solar panels and a boiler of 6000 litres and all the chalets are equipped with Jacuzzi bath-tubs; the sewage system is activated by a special ecological treatment of the waters with production of a bio-gas active and functioning.
The main house of 300 square meters includes a ground floor surrounded by a wooded deck, a large hall with an American kitchen of 100 s.m.; on the first floor there are two suites with bath-rooms serviced by hydro massage devices , and a large balcony; on the second floor there is a third suite with the same facilities and with a veranda . A switchboard provides the communications in all of the housing complex.
At the entrance of the resort there is a small chalet functioning as reception  and porter’s lodge and nearby there is a similar structure functioning as power-station.
The land only one owner and the environmental permit to build till 3200 mt2 with three level building maximum.
At the moment the resort is operating with three chalets, the swimming-pool and the restaurant-bar. The other two chalets are built up to 60.
The land has been perfectly preserved following the rules of the Environment Agency maintaining the natural habitat of flora and fauna ,with even a small community of monkeys.
The land has only one owner who is also a partner of the resort business.

The Maisha resort is also the owner of the permits of construction for 3200 s.m. The project, approved by the Ilheus Municipality, permits us to build a restaurant for 100 places, the construction of chalets of various measurement  (the existing ones are of 100 s.m.) a convention centre and all the utilities for the staff and services.
