The single storey cottage is connected to mains water and electricity and has a telephone line installed. it is double glazed throughout, is in good decorative order and ready to move into. The windows are double glazed with integral shutters. The window and door surrounds are marble and there is air conditioning fitted to the living room.

The main entrance to the cottage leads directly into the living room, which has a parquet floor and television and telephone points. Off the living room there are two bedrooms, both with parquet floors. One bedroom does not have a window, though there is an access hatch to the attic which has been insulated and has two roof windows.

There is an archway off the living room which leads to a hallway running the width of the cottage. This hallway leads through to the kitchen which has a corner stone faced fireplace and a selection of wooden fitted units with marble work surfaces. The oven, hob and extractor fan are all integrated and there is space for a dining table. There is a fully tiled pantry off the kitchen and a door out to the garden at the rear of the cottage. There are two bedrooms off the hallway, both with parquet flooring. The bathroom is fully tiled.

The garden at the rear of the cottage is completely fenced and private. There are a variety of mature trees and shrubs as well as a covered dining area and built in barbecue.

The cottage is located in the village of Casais, which is 3km north of Tomar. There are several cafes within walking distance of the cottage as well as a petrol station. Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, has a variety of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, art gallery, bowling alley, cinema and bus and train stations. The closest airport is Lisbon, which can be accessed both by car and train from Tomar. Both journeys take approximately one and a quarter hours.
